When do the lessons take place? Music lessons at our professional schools in Liverpool and Warrington are available from 9am until 9pm Monday to Friday and from 9am until 6pm on Saturdays so you will always find a convenient time for your music lessons to take place. Music Lessons for Children: Weekday classes for children on all instruments take place after school hours from 3.30pm onwards up to 9pm and all day on Saturdays. Following your child’s free lesson, you can organise a convenient time and day to attend lessons on a regular basis each week. Adult Music Lessons: Specialist Adult Music lessons for all instruments are available from 9am until 9pm each weekday and from 9am until 5.30pm on Saturdays. We have a flexible system which caters for adults who find it difficult to attend lessons on the same day each week (e.g. those following shift patterns). We will be happy to discuss your individual requirements, please call us – Tel Liverpool 0151 220 1008 or Warrington 01925 577715. Music Tuition Fees - How much is Membership? We offer a variety of different membership packages ranging from £38 per month to £250 per month dependant on your requirements. These packages will be discussed with you at your Free Trial Lesson. All lesson fees are payable by the calendar month in advance. Entry level membership at Presto entitles you to one weekly lesson on the same day at the same time each week. There are no additional charges when there are 5 weeks in the month and lessons run all year round with the exception of a short break at Christmas. How do I pay for my music lessons? Your first month’s lesson fees are payable by Cash, Credit/Debit Card, Cheque or Lesson Voucher which can be purchased from either of our schools. Following this, all music lesson fees are payable by monthly Direct Debit and you may choose from three convenient payment dates- the 1st, 10th or 20th of the month. There is no minimum sign-up period so you are never committed to lessons for more than one month at any time. Should you wish to purchase blocks of lessons, you can pay for as many as 12 month’s lesson fees in advance at any time by cash, credit/debit card, or cheque. This method of payment is particularly popular for people wishing to purchase lessons for someone as a gift. For more information about gift vouchers and free advise on the tailor-made gift packs we provide, please contact us. How long are the lessons? How are they run? Dependant on your individual requirements, your music lessons will last between 30 and 60 minutes. The majority of classes take place in small, friendly groups and you will learn alongside class mates of a similar age and ability. Should you wish, parents are able to learn alongside their children, in our very popular Parent & Child classes (age restrictions and charges apply). Do parents need to attend the classes? Your child’s first lesson is the most important lesson of all. In this session we outline the key foundations for ensuring their musical success and explain your essential role in this process. It is therefore very important that parents attend the first lesson with their child. Following this lesson, we actively encourage all children to attend their lessons without a parent which helps develop your child’s independence and confidence. Your child’s teacher will keep you updated regularly with their progress and wherever your assistance is required they will discuss how you can help. Are all Staff CRB Checked?
Yes. For your peace of mind all Presto staff undergo regular Enhanced CRB Checks. These are available for you to see should you wish. Can I take exams? You bet!
