We are super proud to have taught some of todays rising stars, successful recording artists, band musicians and our very own Mike Collins, an ex-student and now tutor at Presto Music. Mike, known as Michael Emmerson in the music industry, has composed pieces for a number of blockbuster move franchises including Jurassic Park and Star Wars.
Harlee Sudworth – Platinum selling single ‘Lonely’
Ex vocal student, Harlee, was a student with Presto Music vocal coach Lori Holland. She went on to fulfil her dream of becoming a recording artist and she has smashed it! Achieving chart success alongside Joel Corry with the Platinum selling single, Lonely. What an achievement! Harlee is going from strength to strength and has recently collaborated with James Hype on the single ‘Afraid’, which is also on track for chart success.
Sophie Morgan was just 6 years old when she joined Presto Music to learn the piano. She went on to have drum lessons and following her composition and theory course with us, she discovered her flair for songwriting. Since leaving Presto Sophie has toured the UK and Europe with 3 stunning EPs and several beautiful singles under her belt. We can’t wait to see what she does next.

Our very own Mike Collins studied with Presto Music before heading off to Liverpool University where he specialised in composition and production and went on to win the prestigious Young Composer accolade.
From there he not only devoted his musical skills to teaching, he broke into the world of motion picture advertising after writing bespoke cues for London trailer houses. His recent credits include work on the trailer for Hollywood’s ‘Breathe’, the stunning trailer soundtrack to ‘The Magician’ and has also composed syncs for Sky Sports 1, ITV, Emirates and more. The list goes on. He is also an exceptional guitarist, drummer and vocalist. We are super proud to have him on the Presto Team.

Many more ex-students have set about carving a career in the music industry or gone on to be tutors – sharing their knowledge and inspiring others. We are so proud to have played a part in helping all our students to achieve amazing things.
My tutor David and the Presto Team have believed in me every step of the way. Doing the theory course in particular made me realise just how far I could take my passion for music. I would love to be a music producer and write scores for film.
