YOUR FIRST LESSON AT PRESTO MUSIC SCHOOL
We can’t wait to meet you. You can expect smiles, fun and a super-cool Music Tutor waiting to get you started on your exciting first lesson!
If your child is feeling a little nervous, don’t worry! Our tutors are highly trained and have the experience to put your child at ease instantly. They’ll feel part of our Positvely Presto family in no time. They’ll also have you by their side!
Parents of children aged 14 and under are required to join their child in class for their first lesson. This helps your child and gives you the opportunity to see what our Positively Presto way of teaching is all about.
So, first of all, getting to our school! Here’s a reminder of our address: 8 Bankside Crosfield Street, Warrington WA1 1UP. We are a 5 minute walk from Warrington Town Centre and Bank Quay Train Station and there is free parking right outside our door!
When you arrive in Reception, you’ll be greeted by our friendly admin team who will show you where you need to go and introduce you to your teacher.
You will learn how to read and perform real music, and discover how easy it is to play some chart topping tunes right there in your very first session.
If strings is your thing, then step into our Guitar Academy and learn how to play from the guys who are actually out there rocking Festival Stages at the weekend!!
Singers will be shown how simple but effective techniques can transform your voice and give you the power and control to hit the high notes with ease!
Be prepared for a crash course of rockin’ rhythms, discover your inner Rock God as you play along to some awesome beats.
Our instrumental students start learning real music notation in their very first lesson and will come away feeling the thrill of
having learned something new.
Our Globally recognised, Award-Winning* education system is designed to maximise the benefits of group learning. Lessons are taught in small groups of similar ages and abilities and all children are encouraged to participate and interact.
Although taught in groups, our students are treated as individuals to maximise their progress and enjoyment of lessons.
Lessons at Presto Music School are always filled with fun! The Presto Music teaching system ensures that all children understand
in a way that suits them. Their weekly lesson and regular practice will result in rapid progress and should they wish to,
our students can take Music Exams provided by the highly prestigious and Globally-recognised Exam Boards: Rockschool and
London College of Music Examinations. However Exams are a choice not obligatory, children are always welcome to learn just
for fun.
We pride ourselves on our Quality Music Education, fun and being accessible for all.
*Courses recognised by London College of Music and Rockschool. We are a Rockschool Champion Exam Centre.
If your child is coming to enjoy a Free Trial Lesson, you will not be required to pay anything. It is merely a chance for us to show you how much fun learning an instrument can be, and an opportunity for you to get a feel for the Positively Presto way we do things! If they love their lesson and would like more, you will be invited to enrol them for regular weekly lessons and set up a monthly Direct Debit (the first month is paid manually by card). You will not be tied into a contract, your direct debit is on a rolling basis and can be cancelled at any time, we simply ask for 1 months notice if you wish to end your lessons.

If our team have already booked your child in, we will look forward to seeing you on the day. You will receive a confirmation text a day or two before your free session.

If you have seen an offer in one of our adverts then you have probably already given us your details, in which case, a member of our admin team will be in touch very soon to find a lesson time and date to suit you. Your child’s first lesson will be a Free Trial Lesson which enables the tutor to assess your child’s ability. It also gives you and your child the opportunity to see what our Positively Presto lessons are all about.
After the lesson, if you would like to sign them up and take advantage of the offer you have seen, our team will discuss available class times that we know your child would be suited to and explain terms and payment details with you.
Once your child has completed the term stated in the offer there is no obligation to continue. If you don’t think Presto is for you, no problem at all. We will always be here if you ever change your mind.
However, should you wish to continue their lessons after the offer period, you are welcome to enrol your child at the usual monthly rate and stay with us as long as you like. There is no contract, direct debits are on a rolling basis and can be cancelled at any time, we simply ask for 1 months notice should you wish to end your lessons at any point.
