2 Warrington Schools are First to use Rhythm Warriors in Class

Presto Music School are on a mission to make music education inclusive, intuitive and above all inspirational for children all around the world.

First and foremost though, we are a Warrington-based family company – born and bred. Our community is our priority, from which all our international work grows. So to have two schools right here in Warrington be the first to take up Rhythm Warriors Piano Zone is an honour and we are incredibly proud.

Ditton Primary and Evelyn Street Primary are the first in the world to use our revolutionary new music course within their schools.

From this term, they will be implementing the new “Rhythm Warriors Piano Zone” music lesson system which has been recognised by the Rockschool Exam Board (RSL Awards) for its excellence in education. The course has also been shortlisted for “Outstanding Music Education Resource” at the Music and Drama Awards 2025.

Rockschool have heralded it as “Groundbreaking – Taking music education to a whole new level!”.

The course, written primarily for children aged 4 to 7, features the animated story of the Rhythm Warriors – Heroes in an epic adventure who aim to save their world through the power and positivity of music. Children in class learn how to play keyboard right from lessons 1, reading and understanding real notation, music theory, practical and aural skills as well as playing as a band from the very start.

The inspirational new lesson system dovetails into the RSL Awards entry level exams. As a highly affordable option, schools get full training in how to run the exams, and certification is available for every student successfully completing the RW course.

The system is written and produced by Emofront Pte and Warrington-based Presto Music in association with Sparky Animation Studios. Sparky are renowned for their fantastic cartoon shows with companies such as Disney BBC and Netflix.

This inspirational animated series was created to change the way music education was taught – to make it more inclusive for children of all manner of learning styles – to make playing piano and keyboard more intuitive, including children with additional educational needs.

The course is being distributed on the Connex Education Academy platform which is accessed by over 5,000 schools and 33,000 teachers around the world with users growing daily. Rhythm Warriors Piano Zone comes with full teacher training so it can even be delivered by non-music specialists. It is ideal for both primary schools, private music schools, and even for home use with grown-ups guidance.

Louise Smith, Head of Evelyn St Primary School and a National Leader on Education said “As an outstanding school, we are thrilled with the progress the children made; the children thrive from accessing an ambitious curriculum. It is clear that Rhythm warriors is both highly educational as well as enjoyable. We look forward to implementing this across our KS1 classes and seeing the progress the children will inevitably make.”
